At 18, I started engineering at Nokia and began shipping real features to a distributed, Kubernetes cloud-native product. I adapt quickly to modern AI advances, and focus on production systems that scale. Now I'm studying CS in Athens, while building my own projects. This site being one of them.

Building software while studying CS.

I'm a 19-year-old engineer from Athens, studying Computer Science at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB).

I couldn't wait for graduation. Seeing all of the fast paced tech advances (especially in AI) made me want to be where real software actually gets built. So as a freshman, at 18, I created a resume, started applying, and landed an engineering role at Nokia.

For a year I worked on a large-scale, distributed platform running on Kubernetes. There I shipped substantial features to production and collaborated with senior engineers and architects across Greece, India, and the US. I learned how large systems are really architected, designed and delivered.

Today I'm focused on my degree and on building my own projects and ideas. This site is one of them.

Where I've shipped and grown.

  1. Software Developer (Working Student)

    July 2025 - July 2026

    Nokia

    • Shipped 5+ large features to production on a carrier-grade, distributed, Kubernetes and cloud native SaaS platform, as a major contributor on multiple new backend services built from the ground up.
    • Owned substantial backend development on those services in Go, with unit and component tests. Configured Kafka producer/consumer clients and REST APIs for inter-service communication.
    • Delivered advanced Kubernetes work including Helm charts, custom operators, and new CRs/CRDs.
    • Implemented authentication and authorization flows with Keycloak and JWT token handling.
    • As a final project on one of those services, designed and delivered end to end a Salesforce integration for automatic ticket creation and updates, while being in direct collaboration with the feature architect.
    • Worked in an agile (Jira, GitLab, Confluence) environment alongside globally distributed senior engineers and architects from Greece, India, and the US.

  2. AI Hackathon Team Lead and Developer

    May 2026

    Makeathon

    • Led a team to design and ship Local Host end to end under a tight deadline: an AI trail companion for discovering authentic, sustainable hikes across Greece.
    • Architected the full stack: a React + TypeScript + Tailwind SPA with an interactive LeafletJS map, served behind an Nginx that streams AI chat over SSE from a Python FastAPI backend with PostgreSQL.
    • Built an AI pipeline that enriches LLM answers with live OpenStreetMap trail data, OpenRouteService routes and OpenWeatherMap weather conditions, and then shows the recommended trails on the map.
    • Added Supabase (JWT) auth with per-user chat history, saved trails, and photo-to-trail search.
    • Containerized the stack with Docker Compose for local development, while coordinating the team's work across Git branches and pull requests.
